I am extremely excited to announce the launch of The Ed Dunlop Racing Club for 2023 and onwards. My aim is to create a modern and accessible option to racehorse ownership.
Owning part of a racehorse is a unique and enjoyable experience which I would like to give more people the opportunity to enjoy first hand. This includes tours of my yard in Newmarket—the home of racing, fun days out at the races as an owner which will hopefully also included trips to the winners enclosure, and much more, allowing members to immerse themselves fully in the thrill of the sport of kings. I am looking forward to welcoming all new members to our racing family”

About The Horses
PURPLE REIGN (Camelot ex Button Up)

Purple Reign is a three-year-old son of Camelot. He is a big, rangy sort who has really come into form this season.
He won at Chepstow earlier in the year and is certainly one that will continue to progress from three to four.
“This fine big horse I hope is going to be a much better four-year-old. He’s won at three, and is hopefully well enough handicapped to progress into his four-year-old campaign. He should be capable of running in staying handicaps over a mile and a half, to two miles.” Ed Dunlop
SOCIETY LION (Invincible Spirit ex Pavlosk) Bay Gelding

Society Lion is a five-year-old son of Invincible Spirit. He is a strong, compact, sprinting type who performs well on both turf and all weather, so he should provide lots of days out racing all year round.
He is most effective over 6f – 7f, having won three times over that trip, including a Class 2 at Glorious Goodwood. He proved ever consistent throughout the 2022 season, highlighted with a win in July under Hollie Doyle.
He falls nicely into the evergreen sprinting category and one that we can have lots of fun with.
“I strongly believe this horse has got himself extremely well handicapped. His rating has dropped from the nineties down into the seventies. There should be plenty of opportunities over 6 and 7f in the short term on the all-weather and also later on the turf.” Ed Dunlop
