Spinning at the Racing Centre

I had a spring in my step on the heath this morning after a fantastic double at Wolves last night. It is great to see the horses in such good order. They are in much better order than some of my staff were this morning after their first spinning session at the Racing Centre last night. I put on a session for the first time and all ten spots were taken up. I am not sure some knew what they were letting themselves in for but everyone seemed to break through the pain barrier and enjoy it.

We took the majority of second lot to the Al Bahathri this morning and I was pleased with the progress the horses were making. Robert Gray joined us at Debby’s Diner for breakfast where we had a delicious full English. We then went out onto the heath where Robert saw the Sepoy colt he has a share in named Alligator.

Vivre Pour Vivre and Blushes are both well this morning. Vivre is still immature but he has always been a horse I like and due to his size he was always going to take time to fulfil his potential. I hope he can continue to progress and he will have learnt a lot from that. Everything fell right for Blushes and I very happy with her determined attitude, it is a good sign for the future. It was not a great race but she could only win and I hope she will step forward from this when we next see her.
