Sanam

It has been an extraordinary December Sales here in Newmarket and many records have been broken. Marsha set a new record for a horse sold at a European auction last night when selling for 6 millon guineas and it will be exciting to see how her progeny perform, indications are that she will be covered by Galileo.

We had a good week last week with Red Verdon winning the Wild Flower Stakes (Listed) and then King Kevin won for the second time in a row at Wolverhampton. This brought up fifty winners for the year and it was a nice milestone to reach before the end of the year.

Sanam is our only runner today. He was a little disappointing last time although he was green. I hope to see some promise from him today but the favourite looks to be strongly fancied and Narjes sets a fair standard with a five pound fillies allowance in her favour, if she runs to form then anything that beats her will have to run to a mark around 80. She has proven to be a hard filly to win with thus far however.
