We did not get the sharp frost we had on Monday morning but it was still crisp out on the heath today. The horses are continuing to progress and we are building up towards the start of the turf season.
Manjaam has been declared to run at Chelmsford on Thursday in the 1920 one mile handicap. It looks like a competitive handicap but the prize money is very good and he receives weight off of the other five.
I am pleased to see that the reaction to Victoria Pendleton riding at Cheltenham has mainly been positive. Everyone involved seems very confident she is ready to face the challenge and I am sure others a lot less prepared than her have taken part before!
