Same Jurisdiction

We had plenty of rain yesterday afternoon here at HQ and we were therefore able to use the grass on Long Hill this morning, it was beautiful ground. We look like having a relatively quiet few days runners wise but some of the two year olds are coming along nicely and I hope to have some more out in the not too distant future.

Mudallel won well at Kempton last night and he is starting to fulfil the potential he showed us at two. He seems to be maturing mentally and James Doyle has struck up a good understanding with him, I hope there are more races to be won with him. Storm Jazz was fourth at Lingfield and she did not appear to last home, we will drop her back to 6f next time.

We have two runners later on today. Same Jurisdiction runs in the Group 3 Fairy Bridge Stakes at Tipperary, run at 5:55 this evening. She ran well at Goodwood las time and the ground will be similar to what she experienced then, this evening. It is a very open contest and if Music Box can overcome her draw in ten she looks like the horse we all have to beat. She does have to turn the tables with Realtra (who has to be respected too) but she went close in a Group 3 last time and has been progressing with every run recently. Raymonda did not step forward from her Fairyhouse third last time but she was not too far behind Realtra at Fairyhouse when they met and with a three pound pull at the weights, a return to that form would see her go close. Our filly had to challenge wide at Goodwood, she seems in good form and a repeat of that run would give her each way claims this evening.

Sileel runs in the last at Chelmsford. We are inclined to put her two recent disappointing runs down to the ground which was on the soft side on both occasions. We are hoping the return to an all-weather surface will see her in a better light and a repeat of her Kempton second would see her go very close. The new trip is a slight unknown but she saw out the mile and a half well at Kempton and given she comes out well at the weights on official ratings, we felt it was worth finding out if she can stay the extended one mile five furlongs. Stanley has been off the track for over 300 days but he has to be respected given his rating of 77 and the fact he is very well bred. Mobbhij is unraced but he is well bred and has to be respected given his connections whilst Nelson’s Touch is a guaranteed stayer and he has been well found in the market.
