Another beautiful morning here at HQ but the clouds are starting to form and there is much needed rain forecast tonight. It does not look like we will get as much rain as we need however. We continue to have fast ground nearly everywhere and it has been very difficult predicting what the weather will do this weekend as the forecasts have kept changing.

Global Revival could never get involved at Chester yesterday from stall seven in a race where it was tough to make ground. Solajan was nearly brought down as they jockeyed for position soon after the start and Silvestre looked after him down the straight when he started to hang left, he is better than this running and we will have to draw a line through it. Red Master found it all happening too fast for him around Chelmsford in the 10f Maiden.

Zamjar is our only runner today and he has a great draw in stall one, the drop back to 6f is a slight concern as he ran very well over 7f on his latest start. He has won over 6f and does have good early speed so we hope he can race handily and run a good race in what is a less competitive race than at Newbury. We meet Munro on seven pounds better terms than when he beat us at Lingfield and have a better draw but he is lightly raced and could still be progressive. If Poet’s Society reproduces his penultimate run where he was second to a decent horse then he could be interesting and Full Intention cannot be ruled out either.
