The All-Weather Team

Mon 07 November 2016

With the turf season now over most of the horses are having a well deserved Winter break but we have a team of twelve horses that will be running on the all-weather in the coming weeks.

Alligator- he has run well twice in Nursery company but disappointed last time when drawn wide at Chelmsford. He drops in grade to 0-60 company at Kempton on Wednesday and he will be campaigned at around a mile over the Winter.

Arnarson- This son of Exceed And Excel is currently unraced but he has shown some promise at home and we hope to have him on the racetrack in the near future.

Booshbash- The daughter of Dark Angel showed her best form yet when second at Kempton at the end of August. She has been given a break to help her strengthen and will be seen in Nursery company in the near future at trips around a Mile.

Dutch Uncle- The son of Dutch Art is returning from a near four month absence on Wednesday. He ran well in the Rosebery off of a break so we hope he can run well fresh but it looks a tough race. His best form during 2016 was at 1m2f and he is likely to run at trips around this distance over the Winter.

Gloryette- She returned from a break recently at Chelmsford where she ran respectably in mid division. I hope she can step forward on that effort in the near future and we may run her at Lingfield on Friday over 1m4f.

Magdalene Fox- He ran in three Maidens over 6f and 7f and showed some promise on his second start at Chelmsford. The handicapper has given him an opening mark of 60 and he may run in a Nursery at Chelmsford on Thursday over 7f.

Muatadel- He was fourth on his first run for us at Chelmsford last week and got slightly tired in the closing stages which he was entitled to after a break. He showed plenty of early speed and we may drop him back to 6f when he is next seen.

Oceanus- He ran well in two Maidens before disappointing at Haydock in a Nursery but the ground there was a lot faster than forecast. We have freshened him up and will look to run him in Nursery company towards the end of this month.

Ripper Street- He made his Nursery debut at Leicester at the end of August and has been gelded since, he will more than likely be campaigned at trips around 7f.

Sparkle- Our filly showed promise in two of her three Maiden runs, latterly when staying on well over 6f at Haydock. We will more than likely step her back up to 7f and she is entered in a Nursery at Lingfield on Friday.

Social Media- She ran well at Redcar over 14f recently when fifth as she was held up in a slowly run race. Once we have freshened her up we will look for a staying contest for her in the near future.

Zamjar- He ran well recently at Kempton when fourth on his first try at 7f. That race looked to be a hot contest and it was encouraging that he was doing his best work late on, we will look for a 0-85 for him in the near future.
