Storm Jazz

It is a beautiful day here in HQ. I am off to Windsor this afternoon and the ground has dried out very quickly there after a couple of dry days.

Manjaam will appreciate better ground and I think he will come on for yesterday's run, he ran well for the majority of the race and got a little tired in the ground. First Quest ran respectably in fourth and we will step him up in trip, Global Exceed would have gone very close with a good draw and did well to finish second given where he came from. We may run him again on Wednesday if he comes out of the race ok. Global Wonder was very free to post and having travelled well for 6f, he got tired and failed to see out his race.

We have two runners today at Windsor and at Leicester. Storm Jazz maker her debut in the 6f Median Auction at 2:25. She is the only runner in the field without experience which will make it difficult for her. Polly's Gold sets a fair standard and the once raced Boreagh Lass has been very well found in the market. I hope our filly can run respectably as she has some ability but she will improve for a run under her belt.

Alemaratalyoum runs in the 4:50 at Leicester and he steps up in trip to a Mile. He has been shaping on his recent starts as if he will improve for the extra furlong and if he does he should run well in what is a competitive race. Vibes won very well at Lingfield but the handicapper put him up 11 pounds for that and he has plenty of weight here. Fastar is lightly raced but he is unproven on the ground and Zebulon, Keepup Kevin and Duchess Of Fire have all been running creditably. The ground should suit our gelding and although his last race at Sandown was an ordinary affair, he heads to the Midlands in good form with the right man onboard.
