It was great to see Society Lion win for a second time this year for the Ed Dunlop Racing Club, making it the clubs 3rd winner of the season on top of numerous placings.
Several of the club members made the journey to Windsor to see Society Lion win, given a nice ride by Rab Havlin, over 6f with Windsor Racecourse offering excellent hospitality and entertainment for the owners both before and after the race.
The EDRC is continuing to provide lots of fun for the members with plenty of racing including Citizen General running very creditably in the Northumberland Vase on Plate Day at Newcastle. He has made the long journey to Hamilton this weekend and we keep our fingers crossed for another good return and his safe return.
