It has been a drizzly morning in HQ this morning and there is no sign of the light rain stopping.
Colourful Career was disappointing yesterday as he appeared to get quite an easy lead in front and it may just be that his last run took more out of him than we thought.
Global Wonder is our only runner at Chelmsford in the 8:45 tonight. He has been gelded since his last run and we have put a hood on him, so I hope he will relax better. Authentic Art is the standout horse on the form book having finished a close second to a subsequent winner last time. He is lightly raced and from a reasonable draw he will be hard to beat. We are drawn well in three and I just hope our gelding finishes his race off well and can show us something down in class. There are plenty of other unexposed types in opposition that could well improve this evening but none of them have obvious claims on the form book.
