Red Verdon romps home to make it a Treble Weekend

Mon 15 June 2020

Red Verdon has been a true legend of a horse for us over the years and he once again produced a devastating turn of foot to destroy his rivals in the Listed, Grand Cup Stakes at Doncaster on Sunday

Red Verdon travelled well throughout the race, sitting in fourth position under the hands of David Allan. Turning for home he had the entire field off the bridle as he kicked on with two and half furlongs left to run. It was only Mark Johnston's Kings Advice who put up any real fight as he galloped clear to win by a cosy one and a half lengths.

This completed a brilliant treble for the yard over the weekend with Soramond and Ten Chants also winning at Leicester on Saturday night.

A massive thank you must go out to all my owners and staff for their support and I am dleighted that their dedication and patience is being rewarded.

I hope everyone enjoys watching Ascot and fingers crossed for another good week.
