Red Cadeaux globetrotting again!

Thu 16 May 2013

Our stable star has been clocking up more air miles arriving in Singapore from Japan at the end of last week!

RED CADEAUX will line up for the Singapore Airlines International Cup Group 1 at Kranji racecourse on Sunday over ten furlongs. He is dropping back in trip again as his last race, the Tenno Sho in Japan was over two miles but it is the same distance as The Dubai World Cup where he ran a fantastic race to finish second. There is a very competitive field for the cup including likely favourite and German Derby winner, Pastorius, who also won the Prix Ganay Group 1 in April this year.

Robin and Steve flew with him to Singapore and are enjoying the sunshine out there! All reports from them are that he is very well in himself and handling the change in temperature well. Regular pilot, Gerald Mosse is flying over from Hong Kong to do the steering, also making the trip are his owners Ronnie and Johanna Arculli. He has been given a draw of 7 chosen by Robin, which should give Gerald the chance of doing whatever he wants in the race. Let's hope we have some luck and that his owners, Ronnie and Johanna Arculli, have something to shout about!

Red Cadeaux, Robin and Steve are all due to come back to the UK after this race and I am sure they will all be pleased to be back home after their long trip!
