Lenny’s Spirit paired up with jockey Ross Coakley to win comfortably at Wolverhampton on Saturday night.
The four-year-old son of Intello has been unlucky not to win since his second start as a two-year-old. However, jumping from stall two, Coakley settled ‘Lenny’ on the inside rail in behind the leaders. He sat patiently until turning the bend for home, picking up easily, Lenny took the lead inside the final furlong where he continued to run on to win by a length.
