As the turf season gets into full swing, we can look back on what was a very fruitful season on the all-weather for the Mr Turner owned, yard favourite, Intoxicata. The 4 y-o filly has been ultra tough, running 17 times since October - successful on 4 occasions and placed a further 8 times bringing her career total to 5 wins.
The filly’s prosperous winter has also resulted in her picking up valuable extra prizes as part of the Areana Racing Company Million Pound Bonus Scheme. The scheme runs from October to March with the top 20 performers on the ARC All-Weather tracks coming away with a bonus - 1st prize equating to £100, 000. Intoxicata’s consistent efforts saw her pick up an extra £30, 000 for finishing 10th overall in what ended up being a closely run contest.
Her performance has been a credit to Ed and all the team at home, including groom Csongor Guylas and rider Anna Malmenlid, who have kept her fresh and healthy. She will now be returned home to Mr Turners White Horse Stables where, all being well, she will enjoy becoming a mum!
