Global Revival

It was great to get the first winner of 2017 on the board yesterday when Magdalene Fox made all at Wolverhampton under a very astute ride by Adam Kirby. We have a few more horses to run early in the campaign compared to last year and so it would be good if we can get some more winners before the turf season arrives.

Ode To Paris was our other runner at Wolverhampton and he shaped with promise when finishing fourth. He was too keen in the early stages but he was returning from a break and if we can teach him to settle then he has the ability to win races.

We just have the one runner later on at Wolverhampton in the last at 8:15. Global Revival won on his Nursery debut and was then drawn badly at Glorious Goodwood when disappointing. The trip is an unknown as he is by Kyllachy but most of his siblings stay well and he shaped at Leicester as though he will get this trip. He will come on a little for the run but the race does not appear to have a lot of depth and I hope he runs well. There has been good support in the market for the Mark Johnston filly The Last Debutante and whilst she needs to show more, it would no surprise if she does improve on Nursery debut from a good draw. Ocean Promise has been very weak in the market which could be due to her wide draw but if she can bounce out and dictate from stall 8 then she would have a strong chance on the form book.
