It is coming to the weekend now and once again another busy week for everyone here at La Grange. Although we have only had two runners it is a vitally important time of year as we get prepared for the 2021 season.
The horses have been ticking over and are still in full canter exercise with the majority using our new round sand canter. This has been a brilliant additional training aid helping us put condition and top line on our horses through the winter months.
Our breaking in team have backed and ridden away 6 more yearlings which have now joined the string. We only have a handful left now and they have done a superb job in educating these young horses in the early stages of their career.
Finally a November spring clean is starting around the yard as we start to repaint boxes, steam clean our walkers and make sure the yard looks immaculate come the 2021 season.
