Fourth of June made his handicap debut a winning one when scoring by a neck under Paul Hanagan at Yarmouth. The three year old son of Amadeus Wolf showed great battling qualities to win the competitive seven furlong event. Although racing quite keenly in the early stages the Susan Roy owned colt led over a furlong out and ran on well to give La Grange two winners from its last two runners.
