AMAZONAS won on her racecourse debut today at Yarmouth, travelling well off the pace and quickening up when required. This was a first win for La Grange for owner Sir Robert Ogden, whose two year filly was given a super ride by Hayley Turner and saw off her rivals in impressive fashion in the six furlong event. Out of the juvenile winner and listed placed Francesca D'Gorgio, this daughter of Cape Cross did it nicely today and looks capable of bigger and better things.
