ALMUFTARRIS broke his maiden at Lingfield today seeing off Commend by a neck in a thrilling finish. Having tracked the leaders, the Smart Strike colt led a furlong out and although strongly challenged, held on gamely in the closing stages to take the mile and a quarter event.
Ed quoted, "We are happy with the way he won and he looks like a horse that will stay further. We are delighted for all the team as the horses are in great form and running well"
