Become an owner

The thrill of racehorse ownership was once the preserve of a wealthy few, but now the joys of the Turf are far more widely available. Ownership brings with it a pleasure that is unmatched by any other leisure pursuit. Being at the forefront of a racehorse’s life, from the initial purchase, through the training process, then onto the racecourse and the winner’s enclosure is a journey that witnesses the development of an un-nurtured talent into the ultimate equine athlete.

Ed Dunlop has a proven record of elevating inherent ability into success on the track and this syndicate, by preparing to invest in both proven ability and the best untapped potential, is being given a fine chance of reaping both reward and prestige on the best racecourses around the world.

At La Grange Stables, we have many partnerships and syndicates, where the costs are spread between like-minded individuals but the fun of owning your own horse is as great as ever.

Whether you want to be a sole owner, part of a partnership, a company owner, or even lease a horse for anything from one race to an entire season, we can find a way for you to experience all that the sport has to offer.

Racehorse ownership is a powerful promotional and morale-building tool for forward-thinking businesses or a vehicle for sponsorship that will harness all the attractions of this popular and exciting sport. Or it can just be a great way of having fun.

Whatever your aim, Ed Dunlop and all at La Grange will help guide you through the pleasurable process, from choosing your colours and naming your horse, to seeing it work on the famous Newmarket gallops and, when the big day comes, watching it run, and hopefully win, on one of the country’s great racecourses.

Ed Dunlop is an excellent racehorse trainer due to his extensive attention to detail and personable manner with his owners and horses.
In a highly competitive industry every detail is critical and Ed provides that service to his clients.
His training of Snow Fairy and Ouija Board has been exemplary and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to have a horse in training.

When I was interested in horse ownership Ed Dunlop trained a race horse called Just Observing on our behalf and the whole experience was great fun. We had excellent outings, several seconds, a first ridden by Frankie Dettori and sold the horse for the same we purchased him for. It was one of the most rewarding experiences and I will consider another Syndicate or purchase in the future if I am able to work with Ed. If you want as a company or individual to have some great racing experiences chat to Ed.
