On the opening weekend of the flat turf season we sent out a few runners to Lingfield AW on the Friday and scored a double!
Royal Dream, for the La Grange Partnership, looked to have benefitted from a short break over the winter to secure his 3rd career win, this time over 1m2f under Silvestre De Sousa. The second winner of the afternoon then came in the form of the ultra-consistent Paul Turner owned Intoxicata who was successful for the 5th time since June last year. This time she was once again dropped back down in trip to 7f, ridden by Rab Havlin. This 4 yo filly is a strong favourite among the team at home and it was fantastic to see her tough the race out and get her head in front again.
Arthurs Realm also made his seasonal reappearance on Saturday in the Spring Mile at Doncaster, a race he was successful in 2 years ago, and this 6 yo son of Camelot ran a very creditable race to finish a close-up 3rd for Mr Paul Turner.
Congratulations to all connections and the team at home as we head into the 2024 flat season with the horses seemingly in great form!
