On Monday Lady Lightning became our first 2 yo runner of 2024 and our first 2 yo winner! Owned by the Serendipity Partnership this daughter of Darley’s exciting first season sire Earthlight, and sister to the partnerships own Free Speech, looked uncomplicated over the sharp 5f at Wolverhampton when ridden by Rossa Ryan.
Purchased for 32, 000 guineas alongside Highflyer Bloodstock from Tattersalls Book 1 the filly topped up her 1st place prize money with a Tattersalls Book 1 Bonus of £20,000 and a further £5,000 from the GBB scheme – a fantastic start to the year for the partnership!
