This season’s first two-year-old success came when Liberation Bay crossed the line in front at Yarmouth on her third start late last month. Yesterday evening, the precious daughter of Muhaarar had her say once again at Lingfield.
With Rhys Clutterbuck on board, the pair jumped from stall one to stay up with the early pace. The bay filly maintained her position before Clutterbuck asked for more inside the final two furlongs. Liberation Bay continued to battle her way to the line to win by a neck.
Purchased from the Tattersalls Somerville Yearling Sale for 15,000gns, Liberation Bay has now landed two Great British Bonus’ worth £30,000.
