After having finished a very creditable 3rd on his seasonal reappearance in the Doncaster Spring Mile, before then not enjoying his run in a tactical race at Lingfield, 6 yo Arthur’s Realm got back to winning ways at Beverley on Thursday for owner Mr Turner. It was great to see this yard favourite get another win next to his name after a having knocked on the door multiple times in the latter years of his career. Rossa Ryan was able to switch him off well and produce a strong finish over the extended mile at Beverley.
Arthur can be tricky when he wants to be and it’s a credit to groom Michelle Roberts, regular rider Steve Nicholson and of course the boss to have him in good form. Congratulations to all connections and the team at home.
