On Saturday 25th March we welcomed some members of our newly established Ed Dunlop Racing Club on a gallop morning to see syndicate horses Society Lion and Citizen General.
They were greeted on arrival with a hot drink and breakfast rolls before heading out to Waterhall Gallop to see the horses exercise on the grass. After this they were able to see the boys return from exercise at La Grange, have a look round the yard and chat to some of Society Lion and Citizen Generals regular grooms.
It was a perfect opportunity for members to see both the horses do some strong work on the grass, ridden by Saffie Osbourne and Michael Tebutt, before they start their 2023 campaign. Both Society Lion and Citizen General have been given entries for the upcoming week and we look to forward to seeing their reappearances.
