This colt was purchased for 32, 000 guineas by Ed and Highflyer Bloodstock from the Tattersalls Somerville Sale. He is by first season sire Sergi Prokoviev’s whose offspring have proved popular at this year’s yearling sales. He had a successful 2-year-old campaign including 3rd place in the Group 3 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot behind Calyx and Advertise who have also gone on to a stallion careers. He is a son of the late great Scat Daddy who was known for producing fast horses.
This colt is the second offspring of a mare who finished 4th in a Newbury Super Sprint at 2 and herself is a sister to a black type filly with plenty of winners on this page. He looks a really strong speedy type and an individual who will hopefully be seen to effect at the races next year as a 2-year-old.
