It was a great pleasure to see the silks of Mr Arculli being carried to victory once again aboard the consistent and likeable Red Treasure. This daughter of Muhaarar was very unlucky last year to be a winner of only one race after finishing second on three of her other 2 year old starts, however she toughed it out to win at Yarmouth under Oisin Murphy on her seasonal reappearance. There is sure to be more winning to come from her this year.
As the horses continue in good form, Red Treasures’ win followed an across the card double the previous day when Chorus Line won at Leicester for Ben Sangster and Martin Mitchell before Richard P Smiths went on to victory at Lingfield for owner Mr David Hicken.
