08-05-2009 Fareer wins at Chester
We were delighted to see Fareer win The Boodles Diamond Eternity Handicap Stakes at Chester yesterday.
Competing over seven furlongs, this three year old son of Bahamian Bounty was held up early on under the hands of Richard Hills. He was pulled wide and asked to make his challenge two furlongs out. He hit the front in the final furlong winning the race a shade cozily from Tartan Gunner.
“He has been a consistent horse for us, so I was thrilled with the way he won at Chester. I thought that he would improve from his first run at Newbury and he obviously showed this to be the case yesterday.” – Ed Dunlop
