27-10-2008 Chantilly Tiffany wins Group 3 in Baden Baden
Chantilly Tiffany has gone from strength to strength this season and capped it off yesterday by winning the Badener Sprint Cup in Baden Baden in impressive style.
Partnered by Terence Hellier, Chantilly Tiffany was held up early on in the seven furlong contest as the leaders set off at a ferocious pace. She made good headway a furlong out and took up the lead inside the final furlong. She was pushed out to the line and won by a comfortable two lengths, beating the consistent Rock Of Rochelle.

Chantilly Tiffany
Chantilly Tiffany started off the season in good fashion when she was second to the Group winning Heaven Sent at Kempton in the Listed Snowdrop Stakes. She was slightly disappointing at Goodwood before putting in a good effort at Pontefract where she finished fourth in a Listed race, albeit over a stiff mile. She was seventh in a Newmarket Handicap before running a cracking race at Ascot in the Shergar Cup, when dropping back to seven furlongs.
On the back of this run we took her to Dusseldorf for a seven furlong Listed race. Again she was held up but produced an impressive turn of foot and won the race by four lengths. Her last run was at Doncaster in the Listed Sceptre Stakes, where she possibly hit the front a touch too soon and was just beaten on the line by Royal Confidence.
We are absolutely thrilled that she has added this Group 3 to her credentials and in typical fashion of her sire Pivotal, she is improving with age. She will have a break now before deciding whether she will return to training next year as a five year old.
