10-10-2008 Izzibizzi wins her Maiden
Izzibizzi was able to get her head in front at Kempton on Wednesday when she won the Racing UK Median Auction Maiden Stakes. Partnered by Richard Hughes, Izzibizzi was held up in midfield before getting a run two furlongs out. She took up the lead inside the final furlong and just held on to win by a short head from the John Dunlop trained Unbiased.

Izzibizzi ran four times last year and was second in the valuable Watership Down Stud Sales race at Ascot. She has had niggling problems this year and therefore we have had to go gently with her. We are thrilled that she has won her Maiden, especially for her owners Mr Weatherby and Mr Purdew and we may try and get some black type with her before she goes to the Horses In Training sale.
