Dear Maurice and Formation gave Ed Dunlop a double across the card on Monday evening.

Formation kick started the evening when he won the Harratts Wakefield Restaurant Handicap at Pontefract under a cracking ride from Jamie Spencer. He tracked the favourite, Missioner, through the first mile before making headway two furlongs out. He was ridden along a furlong out and although he flashed his tail, he was tactfully pushed out hands and heels to win by a short head.

We were thrilled with this win as he has been in good form this year and hopefully there is more to come from the three year old.

Dear Maurice won the Scott Wilson Handicap at Windsor under Seb Sanders. Making his Handicap debut, the lightly raced four year old tracked the leaders before being ridden along two furlongs out. He took up the lead a furlong out and went on to win nicely by two and a quarter lengths. He may be seen out again in the near future before the handicapper reassess him.
