08-11-2007Horses In Training Sales
At this time of year there is always a lot of activity going on in terms of horse movements. The yearlings are arriving in from the Sales and the Studs and as always, we have to say goodbye to some of our string at the Tattersalls Horses In Training Sale. Below you can see the results of this sale.
King Of Argos
He has been a star for us this year. He has won three times this season and has run some cracking races in the big Handicaps, finishing second in the Bunbury Cup and third in the Goodwood totesport Mile. King Of Argos realised 205,000gns and was sold to Anthony Stroud Bloodstock.

King Of Argos
Axiom
We were delighted when Axiom finally got his head in front at Leicester, having just been beaten on his previous two outings. He was bought for 34,000gns by Paul Webber Racing.
College Scholar
He joined us earlier on in the year from Mick Channon’s yard, but failed to show any of his two year old form. He was sold to Five Star Bloodstock for 3,500gns.
Commandment
After a promising run first time out at Windsor, it took a little longer to win with Commandment than we had first hoped! However he found his grade at Brighton and won his Maiden comfortably. Commandment was bought by Robert Tyrone for 20,000gns.

Commandment
Go On Green
He won first time out this year at Wolverhampton and although he didn’t get his head in front again, he ran consistently throughout his campaign. He was bought for 14,000gns by Athanasios Katralis.
Mubaashir
Mubaashir had an extremely fruitful two year old career but unfortunately he was always in the Handicappers grip this season and failed to recapture his two year old form. He realised 8,000gns and was bought by Amedeo Dal Pos.
Wait For The Light
His first run at Windsor this year was promising, however he failed to build on this effort in his subsequent runs. C Leech bought him for 15,000gns.
Madaarek
Madaarek won twice for us earlier on in the season and was very consistent in his races. He appeared to lose his way a little, after disappointing at Chester in bottomless conditions and he was given a break after this. He was sold to Faohel Al Aspoor for 22,000gns.
Albaqaa
Albaqaa ran six times as a two year old, his best effort was finishing second to Ghetto at Newmarket. He was sold for 18,000gns and bought by R O’Ryan.
Bavarian Nordic
We were disappointed not to win with this horse before he went to the sales. He appeared to be a horse with plenty of ability and was just a little unlucky on his last two starts. He realised 65,000gns and was bought by Gill Richardson.

Bavarian Nordic
Blue Ensign
He is an unraced son of Fasliyev who was bought for 10,000gns by RY Bouresly.
Merchant Navy
He was unplaced in his first three starts but showed much better attitude once he had been gelded. He won at Pontefract and then finished third at Catterick from this last two runs. He realised 20,000gns and was sold to Athanasios Katralis.
Spirit World
An unraced son of Anabaa, who is a half brother to Miss Lucifer, winner of the Group 2 Challenge Stakes. He was bought for 9,000gns by Efstathios Sourilos.
Majestic Cheer
He ran twice for us having joined us from Mick Channon’s yard earlier in the year but he was unplaced on both ocassions. He was bought by Mr Nigel O’Sullivan for 1,000gns.
Averoo
He ran four times and was unlucky not to win his last start at Catterick, where he was only beaten a short head. He was bought by Mr Michael Squance for 30,000gns.

Averoo
Fungible
Disappointing on his only start for us, Fungible was bought for 1,000gns by Five Star International Bloodstock Services.
Home
He ran several times for us and was third on his last two starts. He realised 17,000gns and was sold to SM Khan and will now be trained by J R Boyle.
Kaldoun Kingdom
He ran consistently all season for us and put in a gutsy performance at Brighton to win his Maiden. He was very unlucky at Nottingham where he got hampered twice but he put this behind him last time out at Ayr to win a Nursery by seven lengths. He was sold to Mr R O’Ryan for 32,000gns.

Kaldoun Kingdom
Save A Buck
An unraced son of Johannesburg, who was bought by Mr James Kiernan for 2,000gns.
