01-06-2007 Mutual Friend wins at Lingfield
Mutual Friend made his Handicap debut a winning one at Lingfield yesterday when he won the ten furlong Bently, Kent Handicap. He travelled really well throughout the race and when Seb Sanders asked him for an effort two furlongs out, he showed a good turn of foot. He took up the lead inside the final furlong and won the race from Jaady, with a bit in hand.

We were delighted to see him win, as he is a horse who has always gone well for us at home. We may now run him off a penalty at Brighton next Friday.
