24.11.06 - Ouija all set for Japan Cup
Ouija Board finalised her preparations for the Japan Cup with a workout under big-race jockey Frankie Dettori on Thursday.
The European Horse of the Year breezed six furlongs of Tokyo’s turf course, in a manner which left connections pleased ahead of her Group 1 engagement.

Following that gallop Dettori remarked that Ouija Board felt “Very well and very happy.”
Trainer Ed Dunlop added: “She’s just got such a great attitude. Jason Tate, who’s ridden her in all her work here, said she felt even better than she did before the Breeders’ Cup.”
Ouija Board who has been allocated stall three in the eleven runner contest, will line up against Japan’s leading horses Deep Impact and Heart’s Cry.
A recording of the Japan Cup will be shown on Sunday 26th November on At The Races at 9:00am (GMT).
