TTP & Manndawi this morning.

The mornings are getting colder and the skies more ominous.

We picked up another three at Tattersalls yesterday and there has been plenty of interest in the yearlings bought on spec, which is always a good sign. Book 2 concludes this evening but Book 3 begins in earnest tomorrow.

Archimento made hugely promising debut at Leicester yesterday, running green but staying on with purpose, and Willie Twiston-Davies gave him a lovely educational ride. He is a nice middle-distance prospect for this year.

One runner this evening as Dora’s Field makes her second start in the seven furlong fillies’ maiden at Kempton. She shaped better than the bare result first time up at Newmarket and William Buick was complimentary about her afterwards. We are pleased he is able to ride her again and while this looks a decent race on paper, our filly will know more this time.

Back tomorrow.
