I am afraid to say that the frost did not stay away for long which meant we had to stay off the grass during the earlier lots this morning.
Patrick Milmo came to see us but unfortunately Debbie’s Diner was closed. Mrs Dunlop stepped into Debbie’s shoes however and produced a delightful breakfast, Debbie is recovering and the diner will hopefully be open again soon. Patrick has an interest in a few horses here and headed across from London to see them all out on heath.
I am attending the Newmarket Trainers AGM this afternoon where we will be discussing a proposal to build a new canter on Warren Hill. I will report back with the feedback that comes out of the meeting.
