Good morning from Newmarket. We were a little disappointed with Global Destination’s finishing position yesterday but it is early days and we are still finding our way with him. Today we return to Lingfield where Sir Gnet takes his chance in the ten-furlong 0-60 handicap at 4.10.

The son of Galileo has been quite unfortunate on several occasions and various little physical problems have held him up in the past 12 months. However, his two recent runs at Chelmsford and Lingfield were much more encouraging.  He faces some in-form rivals today with Creative Talent and Tesorina, along with several unexposed handicappers.

Daniel Muscutt takes the ride again and he knows him well from both homework and on the track, and while this looks a competitive handicap, I hope with some luck in running he can play a part in the finish.

All the best,

Ed.
