Dancingwithwolves
Good morning from Newmarket. Our bad run of form was nearly broken by Mudallel yesterday, who finished a gallant second at Newcastle. So near yet so far!
Today we rely on two-year-old debutant Dancingwithwolves in the 6.10 at Kempton. A son of Footstepsinthesand, he is out of the Rock Of Gibraltar mare Clodovina, who is herself a sibling of the French Guineas winner and successful sire Clodovil and the Gr.3 winner and Gr.1-placed Colombian.
This lad has been a little nervy to this point and will have the assistance of the Witherford stalls team to try and ensure a smooth entry into the gates. Already gelded, it is time for him to get started and six-furlongs looks the right trip to begin with, so hopefully we will see some encouragement. Ed Greatrex takes the ride.
