We Have Six Runners Tomorrow

Thu 21 August 2014

La Grange Stables have three runners at York tomorrow.

The wonderful old boy, Times Up heads back to York for The Lonsdale Cup Group 2 at 2.30pm for the third consecutive year.  He was third in last year’s renewal but won the race in 2012 with William Buick who is back on board again this year.

Beach Samba is our two year old representative at York and is a smart individual who showed a lot of promise on his first start.  He runs in the 4.20pm Convivial Maiden Stakes and we have booked Pat Smullen to ride.

God Willing completes the trio and runs in the 4.55pm handicap over one mile.  We have booked the promising apprentice, Jack Garritty who will take 5 lbs off this horse who has top weight.

We have two juveniles making their debuts at Newmarket.

Illogical, a daughter of Paco Boy runs in the 1.35pm fillies maiden and will be partnered by Rab Havlin.

Polydus runs in the 3.20pm maiden over seven furlongs and will be ridden by Silvestre De Sousa.

Arethusa is our sixth runner of the day and heads to Goodwood for the 6.15pm fillies’ nursery over seven furlongs. This two year old filly has had two starts so far finishing second first time out and winning next time out at Newmarket.
