Trotting this morning.

Another glorious day here in Majorca.

The golf is going well and the sun continues to shine, which is proving the perfect combination.

Hannah hosted a tour of primary school pupils from Morton Hall this morning and she reported that everything went smoothly. They particularly enjoyed feeding Trip To Paris plenty of celebratory carrots.

Mrs Stewart-Brown also popped in to see Times Up following his Ascot exertions.

No runners today, although Cogent ran his best race to date at Wolverhampton yesterday. He shapes like a step up in trip will suit and nurseries are now an option next month.

Two declarations for Thursday with Red Avenger heading to Newcastle for the mile handicap and Naizah to Newmarket for the seven furlong maiden.

Five movers in the handicap this morning spearheaded by Trip To Paris, who was given a 6lb rise for his Gold Cup success. He now occupies the lofty heights of 113, which represents an improvement of 25lb in less than three months!

Talking of TTP, he was one of two entries we made in the Goodwood Cup this morning, the other being Red Cadeaux. Zarwaan was left in the Bunbury Cup but also given an entry in the International Handicap at Ascot, while Red Avenger and God Willing remain engaged in the John Smith’s Cup.

We scratched Prince Gagarin from both the Irish Derby and the International Stakes with the ground being too firm at the Curragh – we need the weather to break for him.

The tee is calling once more so I will leave it there.
