Red Cadeaux, Robin and Steve at Chelmsford this morning.

Overcast and not particularly warm.

We worked 19 on the Al Bahathri this morning across first and second lot. They included Sharaakah, who will head for the valuable fillies’ nursery at Newmarket on Saturday, and Trip To Paris, who is on course to run in the Lonsdale Cup on Friday week.

Red Cadeaux enjoyed an away day to Chelmsford, although a forty-minute drive down the road is pretty close to home by his globetrotting standards. He completed a pleasing blowout under regular partner Steve and he is in the Geoffrey Freer at the weekend.

No runners this afternoon and no declarations either. Four entries for Monday at Chelmsford, Kempton and Thirsk.

12 movers in the handicap including an introductory mark of 91 for Qeyaadah, who finished second in novice company at Haydock last week. He could head to the valuable nursery at the Ebor Meeting.

Just a quick one today – back tomorrow.
