Toro strikes again

Mon 09 March 2020

We were thrilled to see Toro Dorado in the winners’ enclosure again this afternoon, which takes his winning tally to four this year.

Once again, Toro Dorado showed why he is one of the yard favourites when putting in another gutsy display to win under a masterful ride by Luke (the sniper) Morris at Kempton. With few runners in the race it looked as if it would be a slowly run affair but fortunately he broke well and settled in nicely behind the leaders. Turning for home he showed a potent turn of foot and a lot of heart to fight of the impending challenger, Mastawaa, to get up by a neck.

Huge congratulations must go to all the owners and we were delighted that Richard Foden was able to make the trip today from Switzerland to see him win, along with Brian and Malcolm Plows who are always in regular attendance. Congratulations also goes out to Csongor who looks after him so well at home, as well as the rest of the team.
