We took some horses to the Al Bahathri today for the first time where they had a canter. I took some photos which you can see at the bottom of the blog.

As I mentioned yesterday 50 trainers met at the Newmarket AGM. Surprise surprise 50 different opinions were aired as always tends to be the case. A third canter on Warren Hill was discussed and whilst nothing was decided, planning permission has been granted. There can be a great deal of congestion at the bottom of Warren Hill which poses safety problems as well as sometimes causing the Bury road to be blocked. Permission has also been granted for a new trotting ring.

Justice First bids to follow up his Kempton win today in the 3:45 at Lingfield. The one concern would be a lack of pace in the race but he looks to have a solid chance and is drawn well in stall one.

California Chrome is running at Meydan today as Art Sherman prepares him for another tilt at the Dubai World Cup. He has been fantastic for racing and hopefully everything will go smoothly for him later this evening. He has to concede over a stone to the rest of the field which is a big ask but one he should be up to.
