Red Cadeaux’s second home, Werribee International Horse Centre have named the barn where he has been stabled on his last two trips to Melbourne in his honour.  The Red Cadeaux barn as it is now named will be a permanent reminder that he is the only international horse to ever have contested the Melbourne cup of four occasions.

The presentation was made by Greg Carpenter Racing Victoria’s Executive Manager who said that Australian sports fans love those who take up a challenge.

"He's the first internationally trained horse to start in four Melbourne Cups and has always represented himself, Ed Dunlop and the team magnificently," Carpenter said.

"To be honoured like that in Melbourne, Australia, as an English horse, it's fantastic and he means the world to me," Robin Trevor Jones

Red Cadeaux now heads to Hong Kong to run in the Hong Kong Vase, a race which he won in 2012.
