SNOW FAIRY, ante-post favourite for tomorrow's G1 Darley Yorkshire Oaks, will miss the race known as the "fillies St Leger" and instead head to France this week-end for Sunday's Prix Romanet at Deauville.
Ed said:"The ground is definitely softer than we had anticipated at York and conditions would not suit Snow Fairy, so we have decided to keep her back for Deauville and hope that the going continues to dry up."
Sadly, KANAF suffered another nightmare run in the curtain-raiser at York, being repeatedly baulked and finishing fastest of all in fifth place in the sprint handicap. Surely, Lady Luck will come on our side of the net before the end of the season.
