RED CADEAUX will have his stamina put to the test when he runs in the Cesarewitch Trial over the same course and distance as the second leg of the autumn double at Newmarket on Saturday.
Ed said: "Everything was right for Red Cadeaux at Haydock last time and he did nothing wrong - he just bumped into one in Kansai Spirit."
"He is entered in the Cesarewitch, and this race will tell us whether he stays. We tried him over the trip in the Chester Cup back in May, but he never saw daylight all the way round, so we learned nothing from that."
"Red Cadeaux is our most high-profile runner this week-end, but we also run some nice two-year-olds at Newbury and Newmarket, so it could be an interesting few days."
