Ed said: "He was always wider than we would have liked at Chester, but it was still a smashing effort running an in-form mare (Lady Eclair) so close. He loves soft ground and it is on the easy side up there now, and, while they are predicting dry weather until Thursday, they are then expecting 10mm of rain on Friday, so, hopefully, Red Cadeaux will get his ideal conditions."
