Prince Gagarin Wins Impressively At HQ

Mon 04 August 2014

Prince Gagarin was having his second start at Newmarket Racecourse and won impressively by two and a half lengths.  Ryan Moore has ridden Prince Gagarin at home and was keen to ride him on the track.  Ryan sat second and unleashed Prince Gagarin two furlongs out, quickening beautifully away from his rivals in The Silver Jubilee Novice Stakes.  This was a three runner contest but the lack of field had no reflection on the quality of the race as both Lexington Times and Zephuros had won Newmarket maiden races.

Prince Gagarin is a handsome, son of Dubawi who looks just like his sire.  He has the most fantastic attitude which is such a great attribute in such a promising looking individual.  Congratulation to Prince Gagarin's owner/breeder, Mrs Patino.
