Pairumani Prince scores again

Sun 30 December 2012

PAIRUMANI PRINCE got his head in front for the second time this month when scoring at Wolverhampton yesterday, under a fine ride from George Baker. He overcame both a rise in the weights after his initial win, along with an unfavourable draw, to prevail over Misleading Promise by a neck.
This horse is tough and showed great determination when keeping on strongly in the closing stages and both he and the runner-up were clear of the remainder. Baker said, "I had to let him warm up a bit, but I always felt I'd go well. The runner-up ran around a bit in front and came across me, but my horse finished his race off strongly."
