Muarrab stamps his authority at Newbury

Sun 23 September 2012

MUARRAB won well at Newbury yesterday evening under Paul Hanagan, giving the three year old colt his second career success. It was La Grange's third win of the week for owner Sheikh Hamdam Al Maktoum, the other two coming courtesy of JABHAAT and NARDIN.
Muarrab has forever promised to be a decent horse and he was always in command yesterday, making steady headway from two furlongs out to go on and score readily by a comfortable length. This son of Oasis Dream was having his first win on turf and having stamped his authority on the opposition, showed that there is undoubtedly more to come from him.
